Yes, today at 3p.m. it starts.
They have a front porch area with tables. I've never really seen anyone eating out there though.
No only if for large group
We have our peel n eat shrimp with corn and potatoes about every third weekend as a special. Best to call and we can tell you when we have it. Thanks for asking.
They offer a great variety of fresh food. I love eating here. Staff members are always very welcoming, pricing is fair and the spot is always clean.
You ever sat in Grandmaw's lap, eating a fresh baked cookie, while she read you a story? Remember that feeling? That's how the food at Rick's will make you feel! Super friendly staff!
The food was bland and tasteless. The steak I ordered was mostly fat. The only thing good was the potatoes. The servers didn’t wear masks and the food wasn’t worth what I paid for at all
First visit in YEARS. The food is excellent, service really good. But expensive. A friend and I went, we ordered crab claws $20 appetizer and onion ring appetizer. The onion rings were dark & crispy but not greasy - big plus. I had never ordered crab claws as an appetizer before so didn't know what I was getting into. They did a quarter pound grilled and a quarter pound fried. I do prefer the fried - even though it was a good bit I still don't see $20 for a half pound. I won't order them again. My friend ordered the 1/2 catfish po boy with fries - he said the sandwich was crispy & salty but it didn't taste like catfish. It's not something he would order again. I ordered the Cajun chicken alfredo and my tastebuds fell in love. That's some good food! Yum! Overall we had a good experience.
First time. I love the atmosphere the staff is real friendly the food was awesome , really impressed. The only thing I would fix !!! I have been up n down Hwy 78 driven past this place lots of times, I never really noticed the little sign. Didn't know there was a restaurant there, I really recommend you try it
Loved it, the best steak I ever ate. Ask for it with "dirt" on it. You'll love it too.
This place has AMAZING food👌👌 SO worth your money. Five star rating. 100%
The Crossroads was very good, but I really wish Google would stop stalking me.
My wife and I had an early dinner at Rick's this evening. I had the surf and turf (prime rib and fried shrimp) and my wife had the rib eye steak. Both were absolutely wonderful! Our service could not have been better. If you go on Thursday, Friday or Saturday when the prime rib is served, arrive early because the secret is out. This hidden gem fills up early and by 6pm, the line is out the door. Highly recommended!
First time here, great little restaurant! I ordered my ribeye Chicago style medium, and it came out absolutely perfect. I'm not terribly sure why they give you a steak knife, because you don't need it. The steak is so tender, a butter knife was more than sufficient. Mac & cheese was delicious as well. Great atmosphere and service, will definitely be back!
Great place to eat just a little too small not enough tables.
Great place great food!
Friendly down home service for sure. My first meal was great ! Now the only problem is what to eat on my second visit. Every meal that passed my table smelled Awesome.
Best meat pies I've ever had outside Louisiana...but I think I understood the waitress to say that they are made in LA and transported to Alabama so.. Everything is pretty good. Won't go wrong having lunch or dinner here.
I love eating food, and the food here was amazing. The gumbo was the best I've had in a long time. I also had steak and shrimp which was also very flavorful and delicious.
Huge fly problem. Catfish was not above average. Shrimp and cheese curds were enjoyed. Flies. My 87 year old father in law probably killed 30 damn flies while we were there.
Love Ricks. The chicken Alfredo is da shisnit!!! Not to pricey either right up my alley.
Good food, great service, fair,price.
This is no doubt one of the tastiest place in the area. Every time I visit this place I am so happy. They keep their very high standard service and the highest level of food they give. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Highly recommended.
Great food and great people
The food is always delicious. I have never been and not enjoyed what I have eaten at Ricks. It’s a friendly and family atmosphere. Everyone is always greeting you and ALWAYS GET FRESH HOT FOOD!!! I had just had surgery the day before and our server said that they had warm tea since I could do cold drinks. I have eaten red beans and rice as an entree and as a side. I have had shrimp pasta, fried fish, and salmon. My sons have eaten spaghetti and meatballs and chicken fingers. Never been disappointed yet.
Good place to eat with great service
Delicious food. Nice decor. Good cajun cooking. Red beans and rice were yummy.Visited this restaurant again. Amazing service. Friendly staff. I highly suggest the Catfish Pontchartrain. Really enjoyed this meal.
Fantastic food, from the fried dill pickles to steak and shrimp with salad. We left full and satisfied.
No employees or servers were wearing masks and people were placed in tables 3 feet away from each other. Salt and pepper shakers were left on the tables. I was very uncomfortable. Alabama just broke it’s one-day Coronavirus case record and I expect establishments to take this seriously. I have pictures of proof.
The food and service was wonderful! So glad we dropped in!
This place was awesome. Would definitely recommend the Tiger Tilapia. The sauce on it is to die for. Would also recommend the cheese curds. Just as good as ones you'd find in Wisconsin.Service was also very friendly.
Love eating here. A lot of Cajun influence. Always taste the same every time we eat there. Food is excellent.
Everything was awesome 2nd day straight!!!
The food was great. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly. Our waitress gave terrific service. Nice family atmosphere. Will come back again.
Delish as usual! Had an appt so we went during a definate non peak time and it was so yummy as always! Love Ricks and so glad we have it in Lincoln!
great food! everything cooked to order. delicious and good service!
We had the Philly Chesse with Au Jus. It is an awesome lunch.
Awesome people! Yummy gumbo! We'll be back!
Great!!! First time I had been. Great food and service
Everything was great. Food, dessert, and help. Was ever in need of anything.
Had the Tiger tilapia omg soooo amazing and the sweet tea on point! Will now be one of my favorites to stop by passing through!! Must try!
Food and service were amazing. Will definitely visit again.
I was shocked to have waited over an hour for our food. Yes we had a party of 9 but still. When my steak came out over cooked at the price i was paying for it i wanted it cooked the way i ordered. I ordered rare. For a cook like myself i know that a cool red center. When i recived my steak it was barely pink mid well at any other resturant i have ever ate at. it was EXTREMELY upsetting and flat our rude when the cook came out to the table upset that the steak was sent back held the steak in my face with his bare hands and was upset that the steak was not cook correctly as if it was my fault. Very unprofessional. The bussboy was far more present at our table the our server. If i could have tipped him my 20% i would have gladly dissapointed since we drove from Georgia to eat there.
People had raved about this place. I didn’t care for it. While the people/staff were very friendly, the wait for the food took a while. Ordered the chopped steak along with veggies. Was on the dry side. Came with some Au Jus sauce, which helped a little but I was unable to finish it. Actually liked the veggies more. Definitely a strong southern culture environment and cuisine. If that’s what you like, you will enjoy it. It is not for me.
Service was ok. Prices are high for the quality of food. Little disappointed
My wife and I have visited this place a few times but this last weekend we celebrated our 7 year anniversary together. Had I thought ahead I would have made reservations because we ended up waiting nearly an hour before we were sat. However once we were sat our server was personable, comforting, and knew the menu to a T to help with suggestions. We ordered an appetizer of tasty fried dill pickle chips which was more than a generous amount for the price. I had the surf and turf( 10oz ribeye and homemade battered fried shrimp), a side of *red beans and rice* and a loaded baked potato full of flavor. My wife had a HB steak /w onions and gravy, loaded mashed potatoes, and a side of fresh from the garden green beans. On top of all that we ended up getting dessert, mine was stumphole cake and she stuck /w the home made cheesecake. If you are passing though or living right down the street, just pull up the hill and prepare for a treat!
Staff is extremely polite food was very good we will definitely eat there again
Food is great. Much to choose from and all is good.
Wonderful workers and cooker where we eat food so good n taste performance food .. we hope come again asap
It's the best place to eat in 100 miles of Talladega or in Alabama.
This is the best sea food and steak in Alabama..
Great food and service. Enjoyed our experience. Did think the prices were a little high but that won't keep us from going back. The signature cake was out of sight!!
Great food good prices friendly staff but they definitely need a bigger facility wait times are 45 minutes to a hour every time we come it's best to make reservations ahead of time
The food was delicious and the wait staff was extremely friendly. We'll definitely eat here again.
